Sunset Tour
Sunset by kayakIn the cool of the evening, when winds are lightest, we will lead you into a world of mystery and tranquility. Watch an incredible sunset by a mangrove island as dozens of egrets, herons, pelicans and cormorants jostle for their night roost. Then, by headlamp, view nocturnal animals such as stone crabs, lobster, squid, octopus and stingrays as they appear only inches beneath you.
Owner Chad examining a sea critterYour venture through red mangrove islands at night will be both eerie and surreal. Enjoy the magic of an underwater light show as your paddle excites bioluminescent plankton. Dolphins and sea turtles are sometimes seen.
Kayaking by headlamp after darkThis is the most enchanting and unique kayak adventure in the Keys. Mosquito repellent is provided, but salt water keeps these pests to a minimum during winter months.
